Lack of rainfall this spring and summer leaves this location dried up to the point now where not enough water in the river to test.

Sunny skies with just a few clouds and mild winds. Lots of mosquitoes and black flies here today. Very low water levels where we test and not much coming over the dam from the millpond.

No rain in past 24 hours. Sunny with hazy skies rolling in now. Less water in the river now. Some brown scum caught in the rocks....although I took readings there afterwards and not any significant difference.

No rain in past 24 hours. Overcast and windy now with rainclouds appearing. No signs of wildlife here but lots of geese have been heard and seen overhead all day in this area.

Although the Millpond is still frozen over, the river below the dam is flowing freely and no ice showing anymore.

Partly cloudy and windy. 5 MM rain last night that came all at once. Hadn’t been able to test here most of the summer due to no water in the river at all but finally in past week it’s beginning to flow over the dam . Lots of Canada Geese in the Millpond above the dam.

Unable to perform any tests due to there being no water in the river .

Hazy, hot & humid day. No rain for weeks and the evidence shows in this stream which has barely any water in it now. Large family of ducks and ducklings scurried away into the bushes when I came along. Lots of mosquitoes here. Kids jumping off the bridge on other side of the road into the deep side of the millpond....a longstanding summer tradition here in Milford.

Overcast and spitting a bit now. Have had lots of rain over past 2 days....43 MM in total. No wildlife seen but can hear songbirds off in the trees. Heavy flow of water over the dam and down the river. Quite a lot of foamy scum collecting along the rocks.

No rain in past 24 hours. Very strong current with much water flowing over the dam. Some scum on surface along rocks. Picked up a few pieces of Styrofoam and recycled them.
