St. Lawrence River
Ontario, Canada
Man-made reef for conservation efforts - water is moving on the river side of the rock wall but relatively calm closer to shore behind the wall.
The sediment is very soft - lots of organics - and it is easy to sink when it is stepped in. Lots of big rocks around and behind the wall are a slipping/tripping hazard.
