Sunny with some clouds breaking up now in the sky. Ducks in the water and Canada Geese flying overhead. Very murky and weedy water with lots of green algae bloom.
Sunny with a few clouds forming and light winds. Heavily laden with weeds, green algae, & lillypads so couldn’t see Secchi disc until it broke the surface. Dragonflies and butterflies around. Saw a shed skin from a large snake along the rocks beside the water.

Very dark, threatening skies with heavy rainfall coming and going, but at the moment not raining here. Have had about 15MM in past 24 hours. Not much in the way of wildlife....just some birds can be heard singing, but no insects around now. Lots of weeds as expected in this marsh area.
No rain fall in past 24 hours. Slightly overcast and calm today. Road has been reopened for past few weeks after spring flooding had closed it earlier in year to car traffic. Heron far off in the marsh, seagulls overhead, songbirds around. Water bugs and lots of bullrushes...some floating like little islands in the gentle current until they bumped up against bridge & stopped.
