Overcast and calm day with just a small bit of rain over past 24 hrs. No wildlife here this time, just the usual green algae bloom on the water on both sides of the bridge. Bag of garbage left by someone alongside the road here.

Partly cloudy with storm clouds gathering and windy. Some rain ….a few Mm ….in past 24 hours. Grey Heron that we see here often sitting on a rock or log in an open part of the marsh and a black water snake seen along the edge. Most of the marsh covered heavily with green algae, lily pads and weeds. No current or flow in the water.

Overcast sky with rain in the forecast very soon. Have had rainfall in Quinte area in past 24 hours, sometime heavy. So much green pea soup looking algae floating atop the water in most spots other than further out where it’s more open and lots of lily pads there. Family of ducks on other side of the roadway from the test spot, and single Canada Goose sitting along the waters edge just feet from me the whole time I was there and didn’t budge . No nest near it that I could see. The DO result was lowest I’ve had in all the testing anywhere over 4+ years….below 1 but not 0 so gave it .5

Mostly sunny with some clouds forming and very mild winds. No rain in past 24 hours. No flow at all in the marsh, which is mostly covered by a layer of green algae scum. Swans nesting nearby seemed unconcerned by me. Out in the more open water a grey heron was fishing and another sitting on a nest on the other side of the marsh.

Sunny and calm with some clouds beginning. No rain in past 24 hours. Beaver swimming away when I came. Red winged blackbirds and songbirds and swans here. Some green algae floating in some parts of the marsh. Dam the beaver built that is keeping the water levels higher right now is broken in the middle with water flowing past so some work to do by that beaver once I leave it alone.

Sunny with some clouds and calm. No rain in past 24 hours. Beavers have built a dam on the other side of this road so water level there is good but on this side where we test it has become very low and mud bottom now showing for first time that I’ve seen.

Sunny with some clouds breaking up now in the sky. Ducks in the water and Canada Geese flying overhead. Very murky and weedy water with lots of green algae bloom.

Sunny with a few clouds forming and light winds. Heavily laden with weeds, green algae, & lillypads so couldn’t see Secchi disc until it broke the surface. Dragonflies and butterflies around. Saw a shed skin from a large snake along the rocks beside the water.

Sunny and very hot & muggy. No rain in past 24 hours. Dragonflies and red-winged blackbirds and some other small birds around the area. So much green algae bloom covering the water almost totally in most spots and no flow of water at all.
