Sunny with just a few clouds and very calm. No rain in past 24 hours. No flow to the water and lots of lily pads, green algae and scum floating on the water and under the surface, along with plenty of weeds. Come crickets can be heard but surprising lack of birds.

Sunny day with medium winds. Lots of songbirds & crickets could be heard in the marshes, and best treat of the day was watching what I believe was an Otter ( thought Beaver at first but too narrow a head and no flat tail showing ) swim along the creek towards the culvert while another dove under the surface before I could get a great look at it.

Sunny and windy day with no rain in past 24 hrs. Fairly good current flowing out to the lake, which is still partially frozen over but this stream is wide open now. No birds seen or heard but a fish jumped while I was testing.

Less than 2 Mm rain in past 24 hours. Dragonflies and water bugs around but no birds seen or heard. Water levels have returned to what is more normal for this location after being underwater, fully or partially, most of the spring & summer.

About 21mm rain in past 48 hours after a long dry spell in this area. Boat launch and dock still somewhat affected by high lake levels but not as much as it was. Bit of a current flowing as even during the 10 mins I was there testing the water had withdrawn enough that I didn't have to hop from dock onto picnic table to avoid getting feet soaked as I had to when I arrived. Lots of waterbugs, dragonflies, red winged blackbirds, tadpoles, minnows, weeds up the the surface, bullrushes and lily pads.

14 MM rainfall in past 24 hours, presently sunny and calm. Water here is so high that the county has closed off this boat launch. I was able to carefully get to the dock without getting feet too wet. Some water bugs, few frogs, red winged blackbirds , songbirds and flock of canada geese flying overhead. Lots of slimy green algae on the surface of the creek and where water has ponded from the overflow. Plenty of weeds under the surface.
