Notes

Spring has finally arrived and with it high water. This creek flows year round but is very high and fast today. The warmer weather has melted a lot of snow; the recent rain raised the water over the road and washed out the road bed. This creek flows through numerous fields and farms before reaching this point. The creek joins the Ottawa River 300 meters downstream.

Canada geese, blue jays and chickadees were all observed in the vicinity.
Red squirrels were also seen as well as signs of deer, porcupine and raccoon.
