Millrace Creek

Water is fairly still, moves when higher volumes or rainwater is present. Currently very shallow only half a foot deep in this section. Lots of vegetation on Creek bank but runs along mill race road. Lots of rural type housing, some farming. Also downstream from main hwy 3 through Wainfleet.

Overcast. Rain the day before in the morning. Hot and humid outside. Lots of frogs in the creek. Birds in nearby trees. Invasive Japanese knotweed downstream. Lots of invasive species like day lily and loostrife. This stretch has many trees!
