Creek parallel to great lakes blvd

It didn't rain last night or yesterday, but it is really muddy within a meter of the edge.

Fry at two different growth stages (forgot my id book at home) one stage about 3cm long, the other 6cm long but with the same shape and colouring. Saw one of those ruby bumble bees but it flew off before I could photograph.woodpecker working at the trunk of the maple overhead. Cicada sounding in the canopy.

Two days ago, the creek was 2.5m long. There was a thunderstorm that night and I returned today to see the effect.

This creek is almost totally dried up this week! See photos while testing the water temperature I counted the fish swimming in my view and saw six different species from 2cm long to 11 cm long, six damsel flies..and no plants.

There are fish in the water but very few plants
