Found two baby snapping turtles at the shoreline. (Note: photo is from October 4th, when I found 1 baby snapping turtle).
I found a small perch that floated up on shore. Not sure how it died.
A warm and sunny day today (high for the day was approx. 25°C). Water levels on the Ottawa River are beginning to go down. With the high temperatures the map turtles are now out sunning on the logs. I counted 14 map turtles in the bay and saw a garter snake near the shoreline.
