Mallard family in pond. Spotted a heron, it lingered there for at least 20 min. Could there be fish? On the footbridge at fish ladder, a few of us spotted small black crayfish in the pool. One member spotted small fish! Water is cloudy, a lot of fallen branches/plant debris in the water covered with blackish greyish buildup, same greenish/blackish slimy residue on cobble leading to the Mahon culvert.
