The site is safe to access-
There was no evidence of iron oxidizing bacteria, this site was red and orange in fall with evidence of many pools of iron oxidizing bacteria. No signs of any but an abundance of white fishy foam.

Big snowbanks on the way to the monitoring location and can not see water. The whole stream is frozen.

Iron oxide present and bacterial film. There is algae present but it looks like it is dying. Watch the walk down to the river. It is steep in down the path.
