Slightly reduced water levels observed. Small Sized boulders.
Was not going to finish physical characteristics solo. This site has a particular EHSS, called the cement bridge and depth with current. It isn't the safest solo.
The grass was very slippery going down the path to the site. watch your step on the hills down, it is slick and unstable at places.(ground saturated. probably from the highway, this is low spot)
The water is too high to take all physical characteristics. Can not see bottom in surge or depth
Trail to river is uneven and has hole under dead sedges. The water is surging, to cross river need to walk up stream about .5 km, where the bedrock exists.
Access point is steep, and slippery from saturated sedges. Did not enter the river, was too unsafe. Pictures of wetted width area to measure next time, when accessible. Free flowing water moving down the gully from the highway, runoff.
We took this sample upstream to a tailing spot.
Sunny clear day, 5 pm, tailing nearby. Rocky substrate. We took this sample upstream to a tailing spot.
