Cloudy. Light wind from SE. A few heavy showers in the past 24 hours. Dock is installed and is a good location to monitor for zebra mussels this summer.

Sunny and warm. Light wind. River is beginning to rise. Some flooding in low lying areas. Picked up garbage along the banks

Garbage floating in the water, just off shore from sample location. Noticed a sheen on the surface of the water along both sides of the dock. Lots of woody debris and leaf litter accumulating along the shoreline. Water levels still high in the Ottawa River. Heavy rain in the last 24hrs.
