Notes

Flowering rush (invasive plant species) continues to grow rapidly both up and downstream to the point where the river is being choked off about 1-200 metres downstream

The plant has been expanding rapidly over the last 3 years where it was non-existent before that.

Have you notified any other agencies?

This has been reported to both the Quinte Conservation Authority and on the Ontario Invasive Species website as well as the region's invasive species organization (OFAH Invasive Species Program).
