About

I first experienced Anglin Lake working as a naturalist for Prince Albert National Park over 40 years ago. Since that first introduction I have maintained a close affiliation for the land and water around the lake, having worked for both the national park and Great Blue Heron Provincial Park, in which the lake resides. I recently retired from government after serving 40 years in the field of environment and ecosystem management. My last position with the Government of Saskatchewan was the Deputy Minister of Environment. I have also served as the Deputy Minister of Parks, Culture and Sport and held many different positions including biologist, biodiversity specialist, and naturalist in government. Retirement has allowed my husband and I to live at our cabin on Anglin Lake for much of the year and we are looking forward to participating in the program to give back to the water, after it has given us so much.

Training

I have a BSc in Biology and a MSc in Environmental Management.
