Member of the County Sustainability Group since founded in 2006. Co-ordinator for the CSG Student Environmental Bursary to graduating PECI students, the PEC ecological farmers bursary, PEC Organic Farm Pollinator award, and the annual Rain barrel / composter fundraising sale each spring which supports 2 of these 3 bursaries. Recipient of the inaugural CanWEA Friend of Wind award in 2009. Lived, worked and raised our family here in Prince Edward County since 1980 and have long been aware and concerned about water issues. For many years I’ve been a volunteer with CoCoRaHS Canada, measuring rainfall, snowfall and other weather data on a daily basis at our home location as part of a North American citizen network.
