About

A lifelong paddler and angler I've spent a lot of time on water. Rivers have set the ambience of my life, perceptible in the background, and always within range of either sight or sound. This close affinity has cultivated a deep respect for water and a passion for nature. I'm based in the Ottawa Valley but travel extensively across the country for work. Most of the focus for my sampling will be based in the watershed of the Ottawa River. Particularly the tributaries of the Ottawa River flowing throughout the Upper Ottawa Valley, Pontiac and Renfrew County.

Training

I'm an Environmental Technician and a specialist in wastewater remediation. I've studied environmental sciences. My background also includes guiding rivers and interpretive nature walks in Banff National Park. I'm familiar with the CCME protocols for water sampling and will adhere to them for my sampling procedures.
