I sample the St johns River. My regular launch location is from Lake Washington Park in Melbourne, FL. The headwaters of this beautiful river is located near my home. The drinking water for Melbourne is drawn from Lake Washington and the Florida aquifer so it is obvious why this body of fresh water is important.
