About

As an intern working for Waterfront Baddeck, we are monitoring the water quality in two of the barachois ponds on Kidston Island, Baddeck, NS. We are interested in the comparison between the two ponds as one is regularly breached by the Bras d’Or Lake and the other is completely enclosed. We are also interested in gathering water quality data in the pond behind the waterfront boardwalk as there are plans to add an aeration system - a recommendation given as part of the new culvert installation for the boardwalk renovation.
