Birds present: Great Blue Herons, Mallard ducks, gulls. Snails. Human activity: fishing, boat launch. Shoreline slope is moderate, with reeds, shrubs and saplings. The riparian buffer is shrub-sapling. Further up and down river it is mostly deciduous.
