Notes
Site #4 along Humber Bay Park West beach. Lots of wave action. Major debris from last night’s storm at site #1 and also along shoreline around and between site #2 and #3. Major! Never seen so much wood and plastic at this site. One loon (?), duck, seagull, and a couple shore birds. Also saw resident fox! What a treat!! Did phosphates test = 30. Using AI strips, alkalinity and hardness measured the same as regular strips (120 and 100 respectively), but pH was different (6.8 using AI test strips compared to 7.8 using regular strips).
