Notes

I took a water sample where a small drainage creek meets the Ottawa River. It is just East of the beach area. There were plenty of chipmunks around and I could hear geese honking overhead. I saw a grackle and a robin on my way past the beach. There is a nice mix of vegetation: trees/shrubs/grasses with many trees being cedars and maples. There was a maple overhanging the water where I sampled. The bottom of the water is nice beachsand while the creek bottom is medium sized smooth rocks.
It was raining this morning but is dry now. The sky is still 100% cloud cover with a pressure of 100.25kPa and 95% humidity. Barely a wind: 12km/h from the SE.
