Notes
The riparian area around this site was mostly forested with evergreens (Eastern White cedar and Balsam fir) with some grasses along the stream banks. There was a fallen tree over the brook downstream of the site but the majority of the bank appeared to be stable. The water was very clear and the substrate was mostly cobbles and pebbles with a few boulders and some sand. The width of the brook was 4.7 m and the velocity was 1.36 m/s.
