Notes

The site is safe to access, but the current is strong in areas because of depth making the river strong to cross. Experienced members should only access waters to take physical characteristics when water level is this high.
Park/Recreation is also pollution source in the immediate surroundings.
The left bank of the river would now be considered scrubland because of the work the beaver has done by downing all of the trees. There are shrubs and other vegetation remaining. A clay landslide from the clay pan cliffs upstream had a landslide, there is a claypan substrate starting just above the sample location and is spreading downward. There is evidence the beaver family has been busy but the lodge is entirely destroyed. The family has moved else where but are still in the area. There are several tree and debris lodged up upstream, and has changed the flow patterns of the river. The left bank has been eroded and the cobble substrate that was pushed up on the bank is visible to view.
