Very natural area; lots of healthy-looking shorelines with a variety of trees and shrubby lining them.
A very thick patch, almost an island, of fragrant white lilypads - looked like a paradise for river turtles.
Also saw some Richardsons pondweed.
As for birds I saw many bank swallows and some Canada geese on the shore.
