Incredibly healthy and dense aquatic vegetation; species included coontail, stargrass, and fanwort. There was very little algae on the plants.
A massive murmuration of a swallow species was observed, along with loons and river otters!
Lots of macrophyte cover in the water - looked like elodea? Some floating, bubbly green algae near shore.
