Clear morning, tested at dawn. Strong current after heavy rains earlier in week. But still able to swim upriver a little way.

Water higher after heavy rainfall earlier in week but current steady. Water clear, pheasants galore!

Water level higher, current faster after rainfall. Lots of Himalayan Balsam in bloom

Water noticeably very clear today.
Blackberries already ripening in July

crayfish spotted, Himalayan balsam starting to bloom, broken glass on platform (swept up). Phosphates, nitrates and dissolved oxygen not tested.

Litter: Tobacco pouch caught in fish trap, general litter around area. Lot's of broken glass.
