Water was clear, no visual evidence of pollution/sewage

River high(starting to overrun banks) and fast flowing, no visual signs of sewage

River very fast flowing, some scum on surface where caught in branches, evidence of flooding.

Medium flow, river now running higher

Lots of Himalayan balsam by riverside

Very lush and green, lots of growth on riverside

Regular spot for pheasants and geese
Dead bird noted upstream in river- appeared to be a Canada Goose, trapped in branches/debris on a bend.

Chilly but not frosty, geese v noisy!

Heavy rain, river surging, has flooded in previous days and about to flood again. Water running over swimming platform.
