Loons stretch their morning wings in the distance. There are thousands of little 1mm eggs in the water. They remind me of jelly fish.

Very nice day. No unusual smells. I could hear wings flapping hitting the water but I couldn’t see the bird doing it (maybe a loon, grebe or merganser)

Waves crashing and fresh air. The water is warmer than earlier in the week because the waves are pushing the top layer into shore. I wish I could go swimming it’s so warm! (But I am by myself so won’t for safety reasons)

A herring gull hovering over the water and then carrying down the shore. My husband went fishing last week and was measuring the water temp in Lions Head. It was a consistent 69C down to 50ft last week before it started getting colder. Which is shocking.

A cluster of herring gulls on a big rock at the shore, a large white butterfly combing the shore, flies buzzing me. A Robin, a phoebe and a BTG warbler singing.

Yellow warbler. A loon
