Some ice along bank. Good velocity; downstream logjam broke up enough to allow water to freely flow through it--first time in at least 5 years. Depth 21.6 cm.

No wildlife observed; slower flow than 2 weeks ago; creek full--wide, not deep; 12 cm depth at sample site

Creek was broad due to significant rainfall in previous week. A pair of mallards observed downstream by log jam. Sample was obtained 2m from south bank, 3 m upstream from a large boulder.
