It is rarely deeper than a foot of running water. The only danger is when the creek rises after a heavy rain.

Typical hot, humid July weather. Water level is low but flowing; need rain.
2 inches of rain within the past 48 hours. Curtis Creek water is moving steadily along.
The City of Quincy recently cleared out a huge log jam in the testing area. The creek is now flowing freely.
No change in chloride from last reading.
Coincidently, the water and outdoor temp were the same degrees.
