Lily Cache Creek

Access via Van Horn Woods East Park (Dog park, off US 55 West Frontage Road, Plainfield, IL). About 200 meters west (downstream) of walking bridge that crosses stream. This is a registered Illinois Riverwatch site, sampled since 1998. Water flow is variable--usually some velocity; there are riffles but there is a log jam at the downstream end of the study site that occasionally blocks water flow, creating 0 velocity.
