Weather was hot and humid, with some cloud. The weather yesterday was similar, with some added wind. We observed many flies, mosquitoes and other biting insects.
Nearby, there were a few cormorants, a pair of greater yellowlegs, and a few dozen great blue herons hunting in the lagoon.
