Ice forming along shoreline. Lots of leaf litter noticed in the water. Cold moist feeling in the air.

Beautiful sunny day, saw some kayakers while testing engoying our wonderful Ottawa River.
Hot day. We had substantial rainfall yesterday, but water is still clear. Saw many garder snakes in and around the water. Also saw another type of snake swimming in the water. Had spots like a leopard. May have been a Northern Water Snake or an Eastern Milk Snake.
