Thames River
London, Ontario, Canada
The water is moving quite quickly. It's a muddy walk down to the water from the recreational path. There are lots of rocks to sit on.

View all photosThe place I usually sit is way underwater today. The water is murky and it's starting to rain again. The birds are practicing migration; it's cool to watch and listen.
The river is flowing at a moderate speed. There are a lot of geese around. We also met a cute, camera-shy chipmunk.
The water is a bit slower than last time, and there is a lot more shoreline to stand on. It's definitely a nice spot for hiking... I've met people here everytime I've tested at this location.
The water is high from all the rain, really murky, and moving fast! There's barely room to set up and test. Did I mention all the mosquitoes? Still beautiful though. So much birdsong and a lovely breeze.
I wasn't able to get to a place to check water depth from the shore. It was really slippery.
