Incredibly turbid water, clarity of water was very low. Ecoli count was at 457, as per Windsor Essex County Health unit. No blue green algae. Rainfall within the last 24 hours was between 3 and 5 inches.
Lots of dead fish were washed to shore.
Mayfly hatches were prolific.
Bird count was low with herons, ring billed gulls, barn swallows and common terns.
Water was incredibly choppy, very difficult to take reading, impossible to record secchi depth. Very warm temperatures in the region leading to drought conditions. Algal bloom count were at 54, beach was open.
Considerably more trash on beach compared to last reading which was April 25
