There is a lot more Purple Loosestrife this year in comparison to the past 2 years although blooms are just about finished.

No wildlife to see which is odd at this time of year. Very few gulls.

Water was very high. A lot of logs and debris onshore. High water line very evident on bushline along shore. (See pic) osprey flying overhead.

The Osprey nest stand has fallen down and a new one has been built south and west of the old site. There is no sign that the Ospreys have built on that stand yet. No Ospreys visible in the area. 2 loons visible in area.
The water is calm, weedy and greenish/black.
