Reedville Creek
Surrey, British Columbia, Canada
This section of the creek has been modified due to road development, but still retains several values that provide quality habitat for salmonids and other urban wildlife, such as mallard ducks. Walk along the south side of 64 Avenue and duck under the large Western Redcedar above the railing. Carefully lower your sample bucket over the railing, taking care not to let it get swept away—the current is rather strong! Don’t forget to take pictures!
