View all photosRocks are very slippery at sample site.
Rocky and slippery access. Rocks are slippery and rocks are green/slimy at the waters edge.
Rocks are getting slipperier and a little more precarious to walk on to get a sample, you could hear sparrows it's breezy but otherwise quiet for wildlife. I have some concerns about continuing to access this point by waiting in as the rocks are getting very slippery and could lead to a fall.
Hazy humid, green slime on rocks close to shore but none beyond, 'suds' at the shore, song sparrows, blue vervain, goldenrod, fireweed, dogwood berries tho still white. Purple loosestrife present.
Observed dead cray fish and sea weed on shoreline. Brown algae attached to rocks.
Family of ducks and lots of birds singing.
No litter, song sparrow, nuthatch, crows 🐦⬛
Not sure about discharge and algae. Rocks have some slime, and there is a ditch that doesn’t flow presently but could possibly if raining. Would like some clarification as to the discharge question because we are at the water plant.
Hazy, breezy, some local songbirds, boat.
Weather: Sunny with a haze.
Brown Algae observed at the location.
There was brown algae floating on the water and the rocks were very slippery and covered in it.
Lots of birds. Two loons calling ❤️. The air was hazy over the lake. Also minnows in the water.
Foam on the water, steady movement, can hear birds, can’t see them.
Water treatment plant flush and the ditch that runs through as a pollution source in the immediate surroundings.
Cool breeze, light rain, no water fowl, water was a bit higher, a few birds singing but no site of them.
I was closer to the water treatment plant, but downstream. Lots of flies, and they were irritating a lot. Water Treatment plant is also a pollution source in the immediate surroundings.
Something was decaying, which could be vegetation or Algae near the shoreline. And lots of flies
