Silver Creek (Nippersink Cr Watershed)

At this location, access to Silver Creek is safest at the downstream side of the bridge.

Silver Creek originates at Dufield Pond in Woodstock, then flows north through the McHenry County Fair Grounds and the City of Woodstock. North of the city it merges with Slough Creek, thereafter it is called Newman Cr. Newman Cr flows into Nippersink Creek upstream of Wonder Lake (an impoundment of Nippersink Cr.)
