re phosphates - using a new brand of test for the first time - colour seemed more yellow than anything else which didn't really match anything on the scale. recorded a 0.
First time ever seeming water fleas in the sample cup. midges flying low over water, no pond skaters at this location.
tree litter on surface, possibly from nearby sycamore.
Lots of people out fishing - also motor boat and a kayak class nearby.
Ducks and swan in water.
seen: wood pigeon,
willow tree, tree creeper.
only two cormorants this time.
great crested grebe in distance

Seen: Swan, Coot, 6 gulls,
no other life - fleas / snails etc
grass growing in water
Cormorants nearby, flying over water
Coots in water (4 or 5). 2 terns in water, swans ~50m away.
Holly, birch, oak growing nearby.
dead branches underwater.
very busy with public and dogs. dogs entering water.
no wildlife - no insects, water-fleas, snails etc
no vegetation growing in water or on rocks.
