Beautiful night, calm and partly cloudy with sunny breaks after a day of rain in the area….around 18 MM. Some songbirds heard in the trees, kids fishing along the shore, some other folks out on paddle boards. Some purple loosestrife growing along the shore near the bridge.
Overcast sky and calm with about 3 MM rainfall overnight. Some robins around, and lots of canoeists, kayakers and paddle boarders out on the river. Cottages are active now too. Large fish jumped when I was testing but didn’t see what kind. Some heavy weeds under the surface and lots of lily pads in some areas. Horseflies had a feast on me while I was testing.
