View all photosNitrates very low - no observable colour - less than 0.2. Ammonia measured using Hanna meter - reading 0.05. Water moving slowly against flow. Only a trickle of water moving over the waterfall. Isolated patches of algae on eastern side of lake, much more on western side. First time we observed this this year. Snails and lots of hovering insects. Only two swans and some mallards. Fountains not working at all
Strong wind moving the water. Fountains not active. Nesting swan. Lot of runners, walkers and dogs along paths. More litter than usual in and around the lake, maybe blown in by strong winds. No frog spawn
