Napanee River - Active spring runoff into large pond and onward into the Napanee River

This is a runoff area from a year-round active spring which flows into a large pond and then onward into the Napanee River. There is growing evidence of algae in the pond which has not been present in previous years.

Test conducted 5 hours after a rainstorm.

For some reason, the test strip turns blue for Total Alkalinity, and the colour scale are all green indicators, so I recorded 240.

Full cloud day.

The spring runoff is continuing on this test site from an active Spring.

The sample was tested indoors at room temperature.

Actual water temperature recorded, however, the strip test was done at room temperature.

Sunny, clear sky and first day of sun after a week of heavy rains throughout Ontario and this region.
