Mississippi River

This water test was done at the boat launch within the Almonte Fairgrounds; located along the Mississippi River, above the water dam. The water is shallow, bottom is visible, and relatively fast moving. Canada geese, ducks, turtles and fish are frequently observed. Guarder snakes warm themselves on the rocks along the shoreline.
