Visited with lots of female ducks. No males in sight. Two swans in the distance. Quite a bit of algae along shoreline of pond.
Curious swan. Slow start to greenery on trees this year.
Bobble head, ducks, swan, geese.
Green! The surface of the water is green. Uncool. A number of ducks near the shoreline. No other life in and around the pond this morning... except for a kingfisher flying over. That was cool.
Curious birds. Ducks (one walked up to our feet). Swans (two parents and youth swam up to the shore). Night herons (four in total, kept their distance on rocks in the background). Thick bright green algae on the north end. Two mammals (muskrats?) swimming through the muck left a trail. Ants, lots of ants. Sadly it is getting dark much earlier, but what a sunset!
