Sampled in conjunction with the Celebrate Our Rivers paddle from the Riverview boat launch to the former beach in Renfrew.
Weather: now - sunny/heat wave, light wind; last 24 hr - sunny/heat wave.
Plants: Submerged, floating and emergent aquatic vegetation at sampling site.
Insects: surface beetles; dragon flies, biting insects.

Couple with a baby fishing from the pier. They commented about how polluted the water is.

Informed a couple who were there (in photos) about what I was doing. They commented that they still swim at the former beach even though it is posted as "Hazardous" by Public Health. Gave them a Water Rangers card to check out the website.
