the water was cloudy having been curned up by dogs playing in the stream, there was a slight muddy smell and it appeared brown in the stream although colourless in the container. There were bubbles on the surface but no algae. The water flow was slow and the level average or just below.

the beck was average height with a slow flow. there was no evidence of other water usages and no discharge. the surface had natural debris but no algae or odour. the water was clear and the usual grey/brown colour
