Spring run off Pond/creek

This is likely the largest spring runoff pond or creek at Cawaja Beach, with extremely cold water. It drains from the backroad, thru Church in the Pines. Though shallow and stagnant in summer, it contains E. coli and has no current. The soft bottom sediment is easily disturbed, so use caution when sampling—collect gently from the surface or mid-depth for best results.
