Lots of floating seaweed and water lillies.
Cloudy, windy. Observed painted turtle swimming near shore, Red Winged Blackbird nesting, Great Blue Heron flying alone the river's edge, River Otter, and a large Osprey catching a big fish (carp?) from the river and struggling to keep it in his beak.
Water is turbid with loose seaweed.
It's been a stormy, rainy week with several tornadoes touching down in the area.
Sunny with cloudy periods. Rain expected. Lots of seaweed present.
During the month, we experienced high temperatures in the mid-30C with high humidity and no rain. This past week brought record-breaking rainfall of 130+ mm in 2 days! High winds were present most days. RVCA declared "moderate" water levels with cautions to avoid any excess water consumption even for those on wells.
There is lots of seaweed in the water and water levels are slightly higher than the week before.
Sunny. Lillypad flowers open, white and yellow types. Female Mallard duck with ducklings swimming nearby.

Currently overcast and humid with high UV index. Thunderstorm and heavy rain during the night. Lots of seaweed and duckweed. Lilly pads beginning to break surface of the water. Water level about 1/2 meter below summer average. Great Blue Heron nesting. One meter in length Carp spawning.
